Batman: Arkham Origins

After developer Rocksteady brought new life to Batman franchise in the form of Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, given the job of making a prequel to the dark knight seems a bit over-whelming. How to capture the atmosphere of the previous games and make an origins story to batman? WB Montreal took the task on and the result is great, but not amazing.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

Our favorite raccoon thief is at it again. After having spent almost a decade in hiatus, Sly Cooper, alongside his friends, is back for more sneaky stealing, crazy platforming and colorful graphics . With its PS3 debut and new developer Sanzaru Games, it has a lot to show for itself. Did the break do good or has the train left our oldie on the station?

God of War: Ascension

Kratos has been through some rough times. Accidentally murdering his own wife and daughter made him the angry God as who we played through a total of five games. After the climax of God of War III there wasn’t much room for future titles, so it’s prequel time again ala Chains of Olympus, but now with even more of an emotional touch showing Kratos’ soft side, or at least that’s the plan.
